FAQ: plans, Pinecoins, saving and copyright
Does Larch cost money?
You can make a complete game on the Free plan: up to 100 cards and 10 boards per project, and 20 Pinecoins a month. Pro is NT$299 a month (NT$2,990 a year): unlimited cards and boards, 60 Pinecoins a month, and every AI tool except video is free.

What are Pinecoins?
Pinecoins pay for AI tools. You get more every month and can top up under Plans → Pinecoins. Failed generations are refunded. See “AI creative tools” for prices.
Can I lose my work?
Larch saves to the cloud automatically; ⌘/Ctrl + S saves right away. Version history keeps snapshots, and you can name your own copies of important moments.
Can I make games on a phone?
Larch opens in a phone browser, but a computer works best for making games. Players can play the web version on their phones.
Can I sell the games I make?
Yes. You can release the exported web and Windows versions yourself. Official Larch packs may be used in commercial games, but not resold as files; third-party sample assets follow their own licences.
Can we make a game together?
Yes. Invite collaborators with Share board, and everyone can edit the same board at once.
Is the interface available in English?
Yes — switch it under Preferences → Interface language. Your game can also have English, Japanese and other languages, chosen on the title screen.
I can’t draw. Can I still make a game?
Yes. The marketplace has many free packs, and on Pro AI can paint characters and backgrounds.
